“I had the opportunity to benefit from the services offered by Individual Tutoring Services. My daughter Lucy was in third grade at Troy Morse Elementary School and had started to struggle academically. In the beginning we were using ITS's help on an occasional basis, but soon after, as Lucy was identified as having ADHD, and was in big need of support, we relied more and more on ITS to help Lucy with building the necessary skills to succeed as a student. The results were amazing, as the tutors from ITS helped Lucy improve not just academically, but through wise counseling had a significant effect on Lucy's social life as well. In 8-th grade Lucy received the Troy Turnaround Award and was recognized by all her teachers and principals for the significant improvements made academically and socially, having reached a level of maturity beyond her age. In the last semester of 8-th grade Lucy has changed from having C's, D's and E's to moving out of the Special Education Program and having just A's and B's in the General Education curriculum. "
